How to Add a Spotify Song to Your Link in Bio
Why put a song on your page
For musicians it is the obvious one: your latest release, playable the moment someone lands on your page. For everyone else a song does what a profile song used to do: it tells visitors who you are before they read a word.
Which services work
eltree supports Spotify (songs, albums, playlists and podcast episodes), SoundCloud tracks and playlists, Apple Music songs, albums and playlists, and YouTube or YouTube Music videos.
The player is the service's own compact embed, so visitors who are logged in to Spotify or Apple Music can play the full track, and everyone else gets the preview the service allows. Nothing autoplays.
Step by step
Copy the share link: in Spotify tap the three dots on a song, then Share and Copy link. In SoundCloud, Apple Music and YouTube use the Share button in the same way.
Open your eltree editor, go to Profile and paste the link into Song under your bio. eltree confirms which player it found, or tells you what is wrong with the link.
Save and open your page. The player sits right under your bio, above everything else.
Is it free?
The song under your bio is part of eltree Pro, £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year, along with your own domain, unlimited tiles, links and stories, a weekly report and lower fees. You can still add music links as tiles on the free plan, with their cover art pulled in automatically.
