How to Sell Products, Downloads and Services From Your Link in Bio (Free)
Why sell from your link in bio
Your bio link is the one place every follower can reach. Sending them on to a separate store adds a page, a new design and another chance to lose them. Selling on the page they already landed on is shorter and simpler.
For creators with a handful of things to sell (prints, merch drops, presets, ebooks, shout-outs, lessons) a full e-commerce platform is more than the job needs. A shop built into your link in bio covers it.
What you can sell
Physical products: things you post, like prints, clothing, art or handmade items. Buyers enter their address at checkout and pay your delivery price.
Digital downloads: presets, PDFs, ebooks, sample packs, wallpapers. The buyer gets a private download link by email as soon as they pay.
Services: personalised video shout-outs, lessons, consultations, commissions. Buyers can leave you a message at checkout, and you mark the order done when it is delivered.
Step 1: create your page and connect your bank
Create a free page at eltree.app and claim your name. In the editor, open Receive Tips and connect your bank account through Stripe. It takes a few minutes and is the same connection used for tips, so you only do it once.
Step 2: add your first product
Tap the Shop button at the bottom of the app, open Products and press Add product. Choose physical, digital or service, add up to four photos, a name, a price and a description.
For physical products set a UK delivery price and, if you post abroad, an international one. Add a stock number if you only have a few; the item shows Sold out automatically when it runs out.
Add a short note for the buyer, like "Posted within 3 working days". It appears on the thank-you screen and in their confirmation email. The form shows what you will receive per sale before you save.
Step 3: choose where the shop sits
In the editor, drag Shop above your posts and links if selling is the main thing you want people to see, or below them if it is a side line.
Step 4: handle orders
When someone buys, you get an email with what they bought, their address or message, and what you receive after fees. The Shop button shows a red badge for orders waiting to be sent.
Post the item and tap Mark as shipped, optionally adding a tracking link. The buyer gets an email that it is on its way. For services, tap Mark as done.
What it costs
There is no monthly fee to sell. eltree takes 10% of the item price on the free plan and 5% on Pro, never anything on delivery, and Stripe's card fee applies on top. Payouts reach your bank automatically, or your debit card within minutes with an instant payout.
If you need a large catalogue, product variants or discount codes, a dedicated store like Shopify is the better fit. For a few great products, your link in bio is enough.
