A Free Link-in-Bio Tool with No Paywalled Page Features: eltree
Updated for October 2026: tips and a shop, free
Getting paid is free to switch on too. Every eltree page can take tips and sell products, downloads and services from a built-in shop, with no monthly fee to sell. eltree takes 10% of tips and of the item price on sales (never delivery), 5% on Pro.
Pro, at £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year, adds your own domain, a song under your bio, a weekly report and unlimited tiles, links and stories. The page itself stays free.
The Link-in-Bio Pricing Problem
Linktree: $5-24/month. Beacons: $10-50/month. Later: $16-33/month. Shorby: $12-82/month. Every major link-in-bio tool lures you in with a limited free plan, then charges you monthly for the features you actually want.
Want custom themes? Pay. Want custom colors? Pay. Want to remove the watermark? Pay. It adds up fast — and for what? A page of links.
How eltree Pays for Itself Without Charging for the Page
eltree makes money when you do, not from the page. When a fan tips you or buys from your eltree shop, eltree keeps 10% (of the item price, never delivery) and Stripe takes its processing charge. If you never take a payment, eltree costs you nothing.
There is one optional paid plan, eltree Pro at £2.99 a month or £24.99 a year. It adds unlimited tiles, links and stories, a song under your bio, your own domain and a weekly report, and lowers the fee on tips and sales to 5%. Themes, fonts, colours, up to 6 link rows and the shop stay free.
What You Get for Free on eltree
Visual content grid with auto-extracted thumbnails. 7 premium themes (Midnight, Neon, Cream, Ocean, Minimal, Sunset, Dusk). 30 Google Fonts. Full custom color picker. Emoji reactions. Stories and highlights. Fan tips with instant payouts. Creator directory (eltree.app/explore). Mobile-first editor.
Linktree would charge you $24/month for this feature set. On eltree, it costs $0/month.
Will eltree Ever Start Charging?
No. The business model does not require it. As long as eltee.ai exists, eltree will remain free. There are no plans to add paid tiers, premium features, or monetize eltree directly. Free means free.
